From a young age, Sarah has known that she would be working in the healing field. Her family also knew this when they saw her regularly playing with her brother’s toy doctor kit. During her studies -and her own healing journey as a young adult- she found herself disappointed in the Western, allopathic approach to medicine and sought a more complete system which could answer her deeper questions.
At 26, She completed her master’s degree from Pacific College of Health and Science in Chicago, with an emphasis in the more classic styles of Chinese Medicine. Coming from a background in physical training including dance, theater, and martial arts, Sarah incorporates a functional knowledge of the body into every treatment. Some of her specialties include sports injuries, anxiety, depression, digestive issues, gynecological issues, PTSD and addiction recovery.
Sarah has been in the healing field for several years, beginning with becoming a Reiki Master/ Teacher at 18 and studying Health and Education in undergrad. Sarah spends as much time outdoors as she can and sees herself as a small part of a larger web around her. By constantly learning from subtle changes in the natural world, Sarah adapts her treatments to not only address each person’s internal presentation, but to help each patient maintain balance within the external environment.
From the beginning of her training, Sarah has seen that to partake in the healing process, it is crucial to recognize every aspect of a whole person, including emotional state, mindset, physiological balance, diet, and lifestyle. In her spare time, Sarah can be found singing and dancing in her kitchen while preparing food with as much care and attention as she uses to treat every patient she sees.
